BopOps Privacy Policy
This privacy policy covers BopOps.com, a Spotify-based playlist curation service developed and operated by Alan Mendelevich. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
We do not use any non-functional first-party cookies. We respect your privacy and do not track you across the web.
BopOps uses Spotify authentication to allow users to log in and access their Spotify data. By logging in with Spotify, you authorize us to access and store certain information from your Spotify account, including your name, email address, profile picture, country, and Spotify URI. We also store data about your playlists and tracks in order to provide the service. We do not share or sell your personal data with third parties.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. The service is hosted on Vercel.
We use Plausible Analytics for analytics purposes. Plausible is a privacy-friendly, GDPR-compliant analytics tool. It does not collect personal or identifiable information such as IP addresses. It only collects aggregated, anonymized data such as page views, referral source, device type, browser, and country of origin. You can opt out by enabling the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser.
